”Okända djur”

Vägg i ny entré till sjukhuset.

Jag ville skapa en yta som upplevs som vänlig, välkomnande och taktil. Den ska tåla att tittas på från olika avstånd, både när man snabbt passerar och när man sitter i entrén och väntar en längre stund. Mina associationer i skissarbetet gick till livsformer i små format, celler och växande. Sånt som kanske syns i mikroskop.

Material:

Former i högbränt stengods och mosaik, infattade i kakelmosaik.

Wall in new entrance to the hospital

I wanted the wall to be percieved as friendly, welcoming and tactile. It can be looked at both from near and from afar, given a glance when you pass it quickly or stared at for a long time while waiting in the entrance. My associations while sketching was life forms in small format, cells and growth. Things that might be seen with a microscope.

Materials:

High fired stoneware and mosaic, set in ceramic mosaic.
