Fyra mosaikbilder

Placering i huvudentrén och på hissplan/aktivitetsrum våning 2-4.

Slottet är ett särskilt boende för människor med demenssjukdom,

Uppdraget var att skapa bilder som fungerar för de boende med demenssjukdomar. Gestaltningen skulle vara möjlig att förstå och ge ingångar till egna minnen att samtala om.

Jag har associerat till dekorativa bilder som kanske funnits i tidigare hem, på väggen eller i fotoalbum.

Varje våningsplan har sin egen färgkaraktär, som jag valt att länka till årets växlingar. I entrén finns en bild av våren, följt av de andra årstiderna i tur och ordning.

Min förhoppning är att bilderna är lätta att relatera till, positiva och igenkännbara.

Four mosaic wall pieces

Placed in the main entrance and outside the elevator on the upper floors.

Slottet is a nursing home, planned and built for the special needs of people with dementia.

The assignment was to create images that work for the residents. The art work would be possible to understand and kick memories to talk about. I have associated to decorative images that might have been in a former home, on the wall or in a photo album.

Each floor has its own color character, which I have linked to te year's changes. In the entrance there is a picture of spring, followed by the other seasons in turn, going up.

I hope is that the mosaic pieces are easy to relate to, and positive for te residents.
